Winter is coming fast and it is about to get cold and the last thing we want is a cold baby out in the cold. So when I heard about the Carseat Canopy, I knew I had to share with you all about it. They are a cover that covers the WHOLE carseat with velcros to top handle part so your baby is covered the whole time. The outside is made from cotton and the inside made from minky polyester. All that can be washed at any time with not special directions. They come in a wide variety of colors that would be good for a boy, girl or even neutral colors. Also you don’t have to worry about the issue will the cover fit the carseat you are buying it for because they say “it fits all makes and model carseats.” Also if you want to make this cover extra special they can embroidery it with any name for $6.95.
My thoughts-
I got The Whole Caboodle to review, which comes with the cover, minkey slip cover, minky head support pillow, baby lap blanket with minky underside and a replacement unbrella with minkey lining. When I first took it out of the package I loved it right away, the material was soft and had a thickness that would easily keep the wind out. Also the support pillow fit perfect in the carseat, I didn’t get to try they out because the baby is already too big. I did use the blanket and cover on a windy day and it kept the baby warm and not crying every time a big draft of wind came into his face. I loved the way it kept him warm also which is great since normally when you get out of the car it is cold then warm where you are going into. Also I found this great for inside the store when I was walking around because I could keep him asleep if he already was because he didn’t get the bright lights on his face. The noise level with the cover over was reduced also which also kept him from walking up as easy. The umbrella liner and the minky underside are great for babies skin and also a way to dazzle up the plain jane car seat that you are using if you want to. I have not been able to try on a hot day to see how well this work but the site does say it could be used in the summer also.
Overall the product is great for when you kid is napping and you want to cover him up, to block the cold air, block the wind from a babies face and also to give the baby some style.
