Next time you are planning a trip you should think about Houston. A place that will invigorate anyone from the amazing food to the sites you see. Also if you are bring your kids, you can get some City Passes and be able to do all of the amazing stuff in Houston for a fraction of the cost. The City Pass will let you go to the NASA space center, the zoo and many other place. Check it out yourself to see all of the amazing deals you get if you buy.
I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for the Star of Hope fundraiser event. The Royal Sonesta kindly hosted some of the out of town guests so we could attend the event. The Royal Sonesta just had a huge $25 million dollar remodel done so it was nice to get to see the hotel changes. Honestly after staying at the hotel I must tell you that the money they put into to hotel can be noticed. The bathroom was updated and so was the bedroom from the carpet to the paint on the wall. When you walked into the hotel room and looked out your huge window you could even see the Galleria Mall which any girl would love. So after checking out the room I went down stairs and checked out the rest of the place and I fell in love with the hotel more. It had a restaurant, a bar and a small cafe. Oh and I can’t forget they have a chandelier that is amazing. Just look at the picture of it below and you will know what I am talking about.
On Saturday when we woke up we ventured out and found out that if you wanted to you could get a shuttle to the Galleria Mall which was perfect since from the looks of it from our window the mall was getting pretty busy and getting a ride to and from sounded perfect. After our trip to the mall we got ready for the Star of Hope fundraiser event in the bar area. While attending the event I felt great to see the amount of donations that we had collected for the Star of Hope. It just made me feel great to see that bloggers could come together and get all of the stuff to donate.
