Starting today March 3rd, HEB has changed the way that coupons will be your coupon exceeds the value of the item. It is nicely written out on the policy so we should be hassled about it. They did change also that you can use a coupon that has another stores logo on it. The coupon still has to say manufacturer’s coupon so no you can’t use a “Target Coupon” at HEB still.
HEB New Policy March 2014 states the follow below word for word-
- If the face value of a coupon exceeds the price of a qualifying item, the excess may be applied towards the balance of the order. Cash back is not permitted.
- Manufacturer issued coupons including those with Competitor Logos (must have the wording “Manufacturer’s Coupon” Printed on the Coupon)
Now for you to be able to prove this to them because it will take a while for cashiers and managers to get the information PLEASE carry your coupon POLICY WITH YOU at all TIMES!!
This is a huge change for HEB and it did start today 3/3 so if you have any issues with it remember it is a change and cashiers might not know about it or remember. So be nice to the cashiers if you run into a issue. We should be happy that HEB made such a big change for the better for us. Most store are changing coupon policies that hurt couponers now so smile after you are done reading this post.

This is great news (though I wish they would do double coupons; use store coupons and manufacturer coupons!). Anything to save me money the better!
Sounds great! I just wish they let you stack coupons.
