What does that simple easy to say word thank you mean so much. I have noticed over the past week when I hear those words you can see someone face change, you can see them work harder. There is so much that those two little words bring out but I always wondered why. Is it because it shows someone that you care or is because it is a sign of respect. I guess it can depend on the situation that you are in or what you are doing. I just know that I always make sure I say please and thank you because I was raised to understand manners matter and that you can’t gain respect if you just demand.

Yes, saying please and thank you are a showing of respect and gratitude! I always try to say it. It was also how I was raised.
