Dang Good Pie Recipe

This pie is amazing, a great summer pie I would say.  I always crave this pie when it is hot outside.  You will learn how good it yourself after you make and taste it.


Dang Good Pie Recipe 

Before you start you will want to turn the oven on because the prep-time is only 10 minutes.


1 cup of sweetened coconut

1 can of pineapple with juice (don’t drain)

1 cup of sugar

3 large eggs

1 and half tablespoons of vanilla extract

3 tablespoons of flour

1 pie shell store bought or you can make from scratch

1/4 cups of butter

3/4 cup of corn syrup

So now it is time to mix up everything for you can have a great pie.

First you want to take the pre-bought pie shell out of the fridge.

First you will mix together the sugar and flour.  After those are mixed you will add the eggs, corn syrup, vanilla extract and coconut.  After everything is mixed well you will need to spread out the pie crust in the pan.  Once that is done you will melt the butter in the microwave.  While the butter is melting add the mixture to the pie crust.  Then get a brush and brush the pie crust and then drizzle the rest of the butter on the top of the pie.  Once all that is done you place in the oven for 55-60 minutes.  You may or may not want to cover your pie crust with foil to keep it from browning to much.  You will know it is done when you can put a fork in your pie and it comes out clean.
