Bread Pudding in a Crock Pot

 

c-001 (1)I love to cook in my crock pot so I decided why not make Bread Pudding in a Crock Pot.   Mine can comfortable feed 8-10 people.

Grabbed the following-

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups at least 2% milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cups whipping cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package of white bread
  • 1/4 cup of cinnamon
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 stick of butter

 

First add your butter let it melt down.  Next add milk, sugar, cream, and vanilla; whisk to blend well. While that is cooking for a few minutes on the stove on medium/low.  Start to tear your bread into small pieces.  Once your mixture is done you will add the bread and the raisins, now mix up well.   Next place in the fridge for 2-3 hours, make sure you cover. Once you have all in the crock pot, add the raisins and stir together.  I add more sugar and cinnamon on top to make look extra yummy but you don’t have to do.  You will cook on low for 4 hours.

 

Now here is the sauce recipe-

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1cup light brown sugar
  • 14teaspoon salt
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • 12cup evaporated milk

Simple get out a pot and place all the items in and let cook on the stove while your bread pudding is cooling down.
